FNQH Cairns Integrated Melanoma Centre is a centre of excellence for Skin Cancer Diagnosis, Treatment, Research and Education, we have an onsite pathology lab and in-house pathologist which means you can do frozen sections and CCPDMA with results available in under 60 minutes. 

Other technologies being the VectraWB360 and an Invivo Confocal Microscope – Training will be provided to use this.

Although our doctors bill quite well, we are NOT looking for doctors who specifically are looking to increase their billings. If you are interested in research, upskilling, teaching, innovating and using novel technologies – we want to talk to you. 

We are a very busy practice with most of our doctors booked for at least 3 weeks at a time and we are private billing. 

I have been asked by the lead of PhD@work program at JCU to help recruit suitable doctors to enroll for the program. This program is new and is all about candidates being innovative and coming up with solutions for “gaps” they find in their workplace.
