Skintech Medical, located in Victor Harbor, South Australia is seeking an enthusiastic Doctor, SCCA accredited (or equivalent) or studying towards accreditation to be part of our dedicated team where we provide high quality primary skin cancer services.  Opportunity for Full Time or Part Time work exists.

We currently have 7 Doctors, 3 accredited with SCCA and 1 Registrar. Dermoscopy, mole mapping, total body photography are supported with the use of DermEngine.

We are a busy private billing practice, fully computerised, well equipped with a full complement of dedicated administrative and nursing staff.

The practice is NON-CORPORATE.

A lot of procedural work is performed in our dedicated procedure rooms, and we also have a regular operating list at the local hospital for public and private patients.

Our rooms are modern and very spacious with ample car parking.

We currently use K Laser Blue technology which allows us to treat a variety of lesions with precision and high-quality results.  Anti-wrinkle treatments, microneedling with Dermapen, Clinical Peels, LED Light based therapies are some of our other treatments offered.  Photodynamic therapy (PDT) for sun related skin conditions is also available for our patients and our nurses are well trained and skilled to provide this with medical supervision.

Melbourne CBD: Spot Check: skin cancer + aesthetics 

Spot Check Clinic is a privately-owned, 100% private billing skin cancer, skin health and aesthetic clinic, located in the Melbourne CBD. We’re looking for a doctor with experience in skin cancer, skin conditions and aesthetic medicine to join our team part time. 

The role 

• Flexible hours/days, between 8:30am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday. No weekend sessions. 
• Skin cancer screening and diagnosis, surgical and non-surgical management of skin cancers and other skin lesions, and education in skin cancer prevention and skin care strategies. 
• Management of dermatological conditions and provision and/or supervision of aesthetic procedures including injectables, radiofrequency surgery, IPL, laser, low level light therapy and other treatments. 
• We are open to negotiation in relation to employee vs. private contractor status, remuneration and/or service fees. 

Support staff 

Support is provided by nurses and a dermal clinician who, depending on your preferences, can assist with the following: 

• Patient intake and education 
• Clinical, dermoscopic and mole mapping photography 
• Dressings, wound management and suture removal 
• Assistance during surgical procedures 
• Administration of PDT, laser, LED and/or IPL treatments as directed by you

Criteria 

Essential

• Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions on license 
• Current medical indemnity insurance with coverage for specialist skin cancer and non-surgical aesthetic activities 
• Experience and qualifications (e.g. SCCA or HealthCert certificates) in skin cancer diagnosis and management 
• Experience and qualifications in medical aesthetics and skin rejuvenation 
• Interest and experience in management of dermatological conditions 

Desirable

• SCCA accredited skin cancer doctor, MMed (Skin Cancer), Fellowship of SCCA 
• Experience with DermEngine 
• Experience in aesthetic injectables 
• Laser safety certificate

The clinic is a non-corporate skin cancer and cosmetic clinic. We provide comprehensive skin services focused on skin cancer diagnosis and management, cosmetic lesion removal, treating and rejuvenating sun damaged skin and providing minimally invasive cosmetic procedures.
