Advanced Clinical Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine & Surgery
PLEASE NOTE: Registrations for the 2021 course have now closed
Delivered online over six months, this course offers the most comprehensive skin cancer surgical training in Australasia. This is the ideal course for general practitioners already undertaking basic elliptical skin surgery and particularly those seeking to focus exclusively on skin cancer medicine.
Participants develop the capability to diagnose and appropriately manage the majority of lesions encountered in primary practice. Surgical teaching focuses on the major types of skin flaps and grafts with theory being applied during a separate practical workshop.
Participants also enjoy comprehensive teaching of histopathology, non-surgical treatments, curette and diathermy, local anaesthetics, skin surgery complications and skin anatomy.
This extensive course is an ideal complement to the Advanced Clinical Certificate of Dermoscopy and provides an essential step toward Fellowship of the Skin Cancer College Australasia.
Our not-for-profit status means College earnings are directed back to skin cancer education, standards, advocacy and research.
