The Australasian Skin Cancer Congress is the region’s premier event for skin cancer professionals working across the primary care sector.
Held annually since 2012, Congress is designed to build the capacity of skin cancer clinicians, as well as keeping them informed on the latest advances in the field. Topics covered range from high-level surgical techniques through to practical considerations for running a skin cancer clinic and much more. While scientific presentations may be given if pertinent to the event’s theme, all information shared at Congress is intended to be applicable and accessible for skin cancer clinicians across Australasia.
Each iteration of Congress is based around a theme, with the most recent event in 2026 shining a ‘Spotlight on Skin’ with a program centred on dermoscopy. Programs from the 2025 and 2026 iterations of Congress are available below.

While Australasian Skin Cancer Congress is held in May/June each year, the program is designed late in the preceding year to allow ample time for marketing and promotion.
This is a general timeline for construction of the Congress Program. This process is administered by the Congress Program Advisory Group (CPAG), which is an SCCA Board-appointed group of experienced practitioners who have made a long-term contribution to Congress.
